Deploy our Django + React app with Docker and CI/CD (plus a small fix)

Description We have a Django (backend) and React (frontend) application that needs to be properly deployed to production, and we're looking for someone strong on the deployment and DevOps side. The main job is getting the app running reliably in a live environment with Docker and an automated CI/CD pipeline. There's also one small code issue to fix as part of the work, but deployment is the real focus, so please apply only if that's your strength. What you'll do - Containerize the Django + React app cleanly with Docker (and docker-compose) - Set up an automated CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar) that builds, tests, and deploys on push - Deploy the app to production (VPS or cloud) and confirm it runs reliably - Configure the production essentials: environment variables, database connection, static files, HTTPS, and a reverse proxy (Nginx or similar) - Handle one small fix in the app as part of getting it deploy-ready - Document the setup so future deploys are repeatable Requirements - Strong Docker skills (writing production Dockerfiles, docker-compose, multi-stage builds) - Hands-on CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent) - Real production deployment experience (VPS or cloud such as AWS) - Comfortable configuring Nginx, HTTPS/SSL, and reverse proxies - Working knowledge of Django and React (enough to build, run, and troubleshoot both) - Git and a pull-request workflow Nice to have - AWS (EC2, ECR, S3) or another cloud provider - Experience with PostgreSQL in production - Monitoring and logging setup How to apply Tell us about a Django or React app you've deployed, the Docker and CI/CD setup you used, and where you deployed it.
