Full-Stack AI Engineer (Django + Next.js + AWS) — Take Proptech MVP from Vibe-Code to Production

We're a proptech company with a working product that was built fast using AI-assisted "vibe coding." It proves out the concept and demos well, but it isn't production-grade yet. We're looking for a senior full-stack AI engineer to spend the next 3 months hardening the codebase, closing security and scalability gaps, and getting us to a stable, maintainable, production-ready release. You'll be comfortable inheriting AI-generated code, untangling it, and rebuilding the weak parts properly — without losing momentum. What you'll do Refactor and productionize an existing Django/Python + Next.js application Audit and fix architecture, data models, and API design Harden security, authentication, and permissions Set up proper testing (unit/integration), CI/CD, logging, and monitoring Optimize and deploy on AWS (containers, environments, cost/performance tuning) Improve and stabilize AI/LLM features already in the product Document the system so the team can maintain it after handoff Required skills Strong Python + Django (REST APIs, ORM, migrations) Next.js / React front-end experience Solid AWS deployment experience Hands-on with AI/LLM integrations (OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, RAG, prompt/pipeline work) Experience taking prototypes/MVPs to production Comfort reading and refactoring AI-generated / messy codebases Nice to have Proptech or real-estate industry experience MLS Integration Postgres performance tuning Prior experience cleaning up "vibe-coded" projects To apply, please answer: Share an example where you took an MVP or prototype to production.
