Full-Stack Developer: Modern Video Marketplace MVP (React, Cloudflare, Supabase)

1. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to build the Phase 1 MVP for InternMe, a two-sided video reel marketplace connecting student/junior talent with early-stage founders and makers. The core experience revolves around candidate 30-second video pitch reels, structured short-term project listings, location/zip code filtering for on-site roles, and 1-click applications (SignMeUp). We have already finalized our UI wireframes, layout constraints, grid specifications, and complete technical architecture. 2. Required Tech Stack & Infrastructure Frontend: React (Next.js or Vite) + Tailwind CSS Infrastructure & CDN: Cloudflare Pages, Cloudflare DNS & WAF Video Handling: Cloudflare R2 (Zero-egress storage) + Cloudflare Stream (HLS adaptive video encoding & playback) Backend & Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, REST/GraphQL) + Cloudflare Workers (Serverless API endpoints) 3. Key Deliverables Deliverable A: Responsive UI & Grid Implementation Build the landing page and core portal using React + Tailwind CSS based on locked layout specifications. Enforce a strict 2x3 grid cap (max 6 cards per side) for Featured Talent and Featured Opportunities to ensure clean curation and optimal performance. Implement Zip Code and location/area filtering inputs across both the talent grid and project listings to support remote vs. on-site search requirements. Implement lightweight submission flows for both 'Post a Reel' (candidate video upload & details) and 'Post a Job/Project' (employer listing details). Implement a unified 5-element header bar (Post a Reel, Post a Job/Project, Pricing, About, Log in). Include a single-item centered testimonial carousel matching section header typography (text-2xl font-bold). Deliverable B: Video Reel Infrastructure (Cloudflare Stream & R2) Configure direct browser video upload for candidates to submit 30-second pitch reels. Set up automatic transcoding, thumbnail generation, and HLS streaming via Cloudflare Stream. Store raw media in Cloudflare R2 to maintain a zero-egress fee architecture. Implement responsive video player modals for instant reel playback from talent cards. Deliverable C: Database Schema & Auth (Supabase) Implement Supabase Auth (Email magic links + optional social logins). Design relational schemas supporting Candidate Profiles (video reel URLs, $20–$28/hr rates, skill tags, CREDIT ELIGIBLE badges, Zip Code / location parameters), Employer Listings (3–12 Mo. Internships, 1–8 Week Projects, wage ranges, Zip Code / location & remote/on-site tags), and Application Flow (1-click SignMeUp tracking). Deliverable D: Edge API & Security Deploy serverless edge logic via Cloudflare Workers for signed video upload tokens, webhook events, and application validations. Secure DNS, SSL termination, and WAF protection via Cloudflare. 4. Qualifications & Screening Questions Ideal Candidate Profile: Proven experience building web applications with React and Tailwind CSS. Direct experience integrating Cloudflare Stream and Cloudflare R2 for video upload and playback workflows. Strong familiarity with Supabase (PostgreSQL schema design, Row Level Security, client SDKs). Clean code standards focusing on performance, mobile responsiveness, and fast video streaming. --
