Full-Stack Developer Needed – Private Contact Database Platform with Subscriptions, Data Collection & WhatsApp I am looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build a private, subscription-based web platform. This will be a desktop-first web application containing a large professional contact database. Approved users will be able to search and filter contacts, create personalized message templates and quickly contact selected contacts through WhatsApp. The exact industry and use case will be shared privately with shortlisted candidates. I already have an example of a similar platform that I can demonstrate, which should make the required workflow very clear. Main Functionality 1. Registration & Admin Approval Users should be able to: * Create an account * Select a subscription plan * Complete payment * Wait for administrator approval * Access the platform once approved and subscribed From the admin dashboard, I need to be able to approve, reject, suspend and manage users, etc... 2. Subscription System The platform should support recurring paid subscriptions. Preferably through Stripe or another reliable European payment solution. The system should automatically handle: * Monthly/yearly subscriptions * Different subscription tiers * Renewals * Cancellations * Failed payments * Active/inactive access 3. Large Contact Database The core of the platform is a large private contact database. Contacts will have multiple attributes such as: * Name * Organisation * Position / role * Country * Phone / WhatsApp * Email * Category * Other custom fields The exact database structure will be provided privately. 4. Advanced Search & Filtering Users should be able to quickly search through the database and combine multiple filters. For example: **Country + category + role + other attributes** Search results should update quickly and the system must remain performant with a large number of contacts. ### 5. WhatsApp Desktop / Web Integration This is an important feature. Users should be able to create and save reusable message templates. Templates should support variables such as: `Hi (first_name), ...` When viewing a contact, the user should be able to: **Select contact → Select template → Click WhatsApp → WhatsApp Web/Desktop opens with the correct phone number and pre-filled message.** The user will manually review and send the message. We are **not looking for automated mass messaging**. The goal is to make individual outreach faster. ### 6. Message Template Manager Each user should be able to: * Create templates * Edit templates * Delete templates * Insert dynamic contact information * Select a template before opening WhatsApp ### 7. Data Collection / Scraping An important part of the project is keeping the contact database populated and up to date. The developer should have experience with: * Web scraping * APIs * Automated data collection * Data cleaning * Duplicate detection * Updating existing records * CSV / Excel imports The exact sources that need to be monitored or scraped will be shared privately with shortlisted candidates. The solution should be maintainable, as sources and database fields may change over time. 8. Admin Dashboard I need full control over the platform from an admin environment. This should include: * User management * Registration approvals * Subscription overview * Contact management * Add/edit/delete contacts * Bulk imports * Manage collected/scraped data * Manage categories and filters * Basic platform statistics 9. Security The database contains valuable private business information, so security is important. The platform should include: * Secure authentication * Protected database/API * Role-based permissions * Secure payment handling * Password reset Users should not simply be able to download or extract the entire database. ## Technology I am open to recommendations regarding the technology stack. Experience with technologies such as **React / Next.js, Node.js, Laravel, Django, PostgreSQL, Supabase, Stripe, Playwright, Puppeteer or similar technologies** is relevant. ## Timeline **ASAP.** Speed is very important for this project. I want to have a functional MVP online as quickly as realistically possible. After the MVP, additional features and improvements can be developed. ## Important I already have a **working example/reference platform** that demonstrates much of the functionality I am looking for. I will show this privately to serious shortlisted candidates.
