Next.js Front-End Developer Needed to Improve Existing SaaS UI/UX

We are looking for an experienced front-end developer to improve and modernize the user interface of an existing web application built with Next.js and Supabase. The backend and core functionality are already working. The main goal of this project is to significantly improve the front-end quality, usability, responsiveness, and overall visual consistency of the platform. ## Current Stack * Next.js * React * TypeScript * Supabase * Tailwind CSS The existing Supabase database and backend logic should remain mostly unchanged. ## Main Responsibilities The selected developer will review the existing application and improve the front-end across the main pages. This includes: * Modernizing the overall UI * Improving spacing, typography, colors, and visual hierarchy * Creating a more professional and consistent design system * Improving navigation and dashboard usability * Fixing inconsistent components * Improving mobile and tablet responsiveness * Improving forms, tables, modals, dropdowns, and filters * Adding better loading, empty, success, and error states * Improving user feedback for actions * Reducing unnecessary UI complexity * Improving perceived performance ## Dashboard Improvements The current dashboard should be redesigned to feel cleaner and more modern. Possible improvements include: * Better KPI cards * Improved tables * Better filtering and search * Clearer project/client status indicators * Improved side navigation * Better mobile navigation * More intuitive actions * Improved information hierarchy ## Component Refactoring We want reusable and maintainable UI components. The developer should: * Identify duplicated UI code * Create reusable components * Standardize buttons, inputs, cards, tables, modals, badges, and forms * Improve Tailwind structure * Keep components clean and easy to maintain Experience with shadcn/ui or similar component systems is welcome. ## Responsive Design The application must work properly on: * Desktop * Laptop * Tablet * Mobile The current mobile experience needs significant improvement. ## Performance The developer should also review basic front-end performance. This may include: * Reducing unnecessary React re-renders * Improving component loading * Optimizing images * Improving page transitions * Adding skeleton/loading states * Reviewing unnecessary client-side components ## Important This is NOT a complete rebuild. The application already exists and the main business logic is working. We are looking for someone who can work with an existing codebase, understand the current structure, and improve the product without breaking existing functionality. ## Deliverables Expected deliverables include: * Improved UI/UX across the main application * Fully responsive pages * Reusable component structure * Improved dashboard * Improved forms and tables * Loading and empty states * Better navigation * Clean TypeScript/React code * No regression in existing functionality ## Ideal Candidate You should have strong experience with: * Next.js * React * TypeScript * Tailwind CSS * Responsive design * SaaS dashboards * UI component architecture Experience with Supabase is important because the application already uses it. ## When Applying Please answer the following: 1.
