Reliable WordPress & Elementor Administrator for Ongoing Website Maintenance

We are a German financial advisory company looking for a reliable and experienced WordPress administrator to provide ongoing technical support for our active business website. Our website is built with WordPress and Elementor. We expect only a few hours of work per month, depending on maintenance requirements and technical issues. We are interested in establishing a long-term working relationship with an individual freelancer. We are not looking for an agency. Your ongoing responsibilities will include: * Updating WordPress, plugins, and related website components * Identifying and resolving technical errors * Providing support when website problems occur * Monitoring and improving website security * Managing and checking backups * Monitoring and optimizing website performance * Proactively identifying technical risks and suggesting improvements * Ensuring that changes do not negatively affect the live website Paid Trial Assignment We would like to begin with a small paid trial assignment consisting of a technical website check. The trial is expected to take approximately two to three hours. The initial check should include: * Reviewing the current WordPress, Elementor, theme, and plugin setup * Identifying outdated, unnecessary, or potentially conflicting components * Checking whether backups are configured correctly and can be restored * Performing a basic website security review * Reviewing website loading speed and general performance * Identifying visible technical errors, risks, and maintenance needs * Providing a short, prioritized list of recommended actions * Estimating the time and cost required for any suggested improvements No changes should be made to the live website during the technical check without our prior approval. The findings should be summarized in a short and understandable written report. If the trial assignment is completed successfully, we would like to continue working with the freelancer on an ongoing, as-needed basis. Our ideal freelancer: * Has proven experience maintaining active WordPress websites * Is confident working with WordPress and Elementor * Can provide examples of comparable projects * Communicates clearly and reliably * Usually responds within one business day * Can provide short-notice assistance in urgent situations * Proactively suggests appropriate technical improvements * Is interested in a long-term working relationship * Can explain technical issues in clear, understandable language German language skills would be an advantage but are not mandatory. The expected hourly rate for the ongoing collaboration is USD 20–40. The project can start as soon as possible. When applying, please include: 1.
