Senior Document Automation Engineer — LegalTech / AI AgentLegal.com is building an AI-powered global corporate-services platform automating company formations, legal documents, filings, and compliance across 50+ jurisdictions. We are seeking a Senior Document Automation Engineer to build our global document-generation engine. Responsibilities: Automate incorporation and corporate legal documents Convert legal templates/forms into dynamic document workflows Build conditional logic and reusable clause/template libraries Generate DOCX/PDF documents from structured customer data Integrate document generation with Claude/OpenAI, APIs, DocuSign, and our platform Build automated document validation and quality-control systems Create a scalable architecture allowing new jurisdictions and document packages to be added rapidly Work closely with our AI, backend, full-stack, and cloud engineers Required Skills: Strong Python and/or TypeScript/Node.js Document automation/document assembly experience HotDocs, Contract Express, Docassemble, Gavel, or similar DOCX/PDF generation Conditional document logic JSON, APIs, webhooks, SQL/PostgreSQL Claude/OpenAI API integration DocuSign or similar e-signature APIs Git and automated testing Preferred: LegalTech experience Company formation/corporate services experience AI/LLM document automation Azure/cloud experience MCP/AI-agent experience Goal: Build a system where customers enter information once and AgentLegal automatically generates, validates, signs, stores, and routes the complete legal document package with minimal human intervention.
