Senior Odoo.sh Developer for Migration

We are looking for an experienced Senior Odoo Developer/Consultant to lead and execute the migration of our Odoo Enterprise database hosted on odoo.sh from Odoo 18 to Odoo 19 and conduct an audit and documentatoion of any customisations. The role involves ensuring a seamless transition, identifying and resolving potential issues, and optimizing customizations for the new version. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Odoo migrations and a strong understanding of best practices. PHASE 1 - AUDIT AND DOCUMENTATION - Perform a full audit of our existing Odoo 18 database, Studio customizations, and custom modules. - Document all existing custom logic, server actions, automated rules, and module dependencies prior to upgrade. - Ensure a robust, isolated backup of the production codebase (`git` repository) and PostgreSQL database. PHASE 2 - STAGING ENVIRONMENT AND TEST UPGRADE - Set up an Odoo 19 Staging branch on **Odoo.sh**. - Trigger and manage the upgrade process using the official Odoo Upgrade platform. - Refactor custom Python code, QWeb reports, views, and Odoo Studio models to ensure 100% compatibility with Odoo 19 APIs and UI framework. - Resolve any upgrade script errors or data migration issues. PHASE 3 - USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING - Provide a fully functional Odoo 19 Staging environment for our team to test key business workflows. - Fix bugs, broken workflows, or data inconsistencies reported during UAT. PHASE 4 - - Plan and execute the final production migration during an agreed maintenance window. - Perform post-migration checks to ensure zero data loss and full operational stability.
