Website modernization and performance optimization

I am looking for a developer/designer to improve and modernize my existing website: finansowyflex.pl. The goal is not to completely redesign the website from scratch, but to make it look more modern, improve performance and usability, and introduce several new functional elements while keeping the current structure and overall visual identity. The final scope can also take into account the developer’s own recommendations, especially where relatively small changes could significantly improve the overall look and user experience. Main tasks 1. Website performance The website should be optimized for speed and performance. At the moment, the performance score is around 80%, and I would like to improve it as much as reasonably possible without negatively affecting the design or functionality. Please review the current website and optimize loading speed, images, scripts, animations, and other elements where necessary. 2. General visual modernization In my opinion, the website currently looks slightly outdated. I would like to make it feel more modern and polished, but I am not looking for a major redesign, as budget is also an important consideration. I am open to the developer/designer’s suggestions regarding typography, spacing, animations, transitions, layout details, buttons, and other relatively small improvements that could make the website look significantly more current. 3. Hero section The current hero section is static. I would like to consider adding a subtle text animation, for example text appearing/fading in during page load or another modern but elegant effect. There is also currently an issue during page loading: sometimes a white vertical strip appears in the middle of the hero section. This needs to be fixed. 4. Replace the current second section with a dynamic News / Articles section The second section of the homepage already exists, but currently it contains a static message. I would like to replace this existing section with a dynamic News / Articles section connected to the existing blog. The section should display approximately 4 recent articles, preferably those marked as “Editor’s Choice” / recommended articles. I would like it to work as a dynamic content section, so that new recommended articles can automatically appear there without manually editing the homepage every time. Reference website: https://rougeonblue.ca/ I would like this section to work in a similar way to the article section on the reference website. On mobile, the articles should be displayed as cards in a horizontal scroll / swipe layout. On desktop, the same horizontal scrolling concept should be used, with the articles scrollable using the mouse, as on the reference website. Approximately 4 article cards/topics are enough — there is no need to display a large number of articles at once. 5. Services section / Services wheel The current website includes a services section presented as a visual “wheel”. On mobile, it currently appears as a simple vertical sequence/list of services. The main task here is to make the services that already have their own dedicated pages clickable, so that clicking the service name or element redirects the user to the appropriate service page. The existing visual concept can remain unless the developer recommends a simple improvement that would make it more modern or more intuitive. 6. Footer changes Please update the footer: add Instagram icon/link; add Facebook icon/link; move the company address to the same side/column where the email address and phone number are currently displayed; improve spacing/alignment if needed so the footer looks cleaner and more modern. General expectations The website should remain responsive and work properly on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. The priority is: better performance + more modern appearance + improved mobile experience + dynamic blog/news section, without turning the project into a complete website redesign. I am open to suggestions if you see other relatively small changes that could noticeably improve the website. Please include in your proposal: estimated project cost; estimated completion time; examples of similar website modernization projects; any additional recommendations after reviewing finansowyflex.pl. As a general visual reference, I like the style of the Stripe website — clean, modern, polished, with strong typography, subtle animations and a very refined overall feel. I understand that my website is much simpler and I am not looking to replicate Stripe or rebuild the site in that direction, but I would like the modernization to move toward a similar level of visual cleanliness and contemporary feel where reasonably possible.
