API Developer for Apple & Google Wallet Integration using PassKit (Node.js/NestJS)

About the project We run an aviation registry web application used to issue and verify pilot license validations. We want pilots to be able to add their license to Apple Wallet and Google Wallet using the PassKit platform (not building passes from scratch). You will work with our lead developer, who coordinates the project and handles the rest of the system. Our technology Back end: Node.js, NestJS (TypeScript), GraphQL and REST Database: MySQL (TypeORM) Front end: React Hosting: AWS Scope of work Set up PassKit: connect our Apple Pass certificate and Google Wallet, design the license card template and map the fields (name, validation number, certificate type, expiry, status, “status as of” timestamp, QR code). Build a service in our NestJS API that calls the PassKit API to create a card when a license is issued, and store the card ID. Provide “Add to Apple Wallet” and “Add to Google Wallet” links for our pilot enrollment page. Update, void or expire cards when a license status changes (Valid, Suspended, Revoked, Restricted), including an on-demand “push now” update. Daily scheduled job that refreshes the “status as of” timestamp on all active cards. Enable the Google Wallet security (anti-screenshot) animation. Store API keys and certificates securely on AWS; set up webhooks for card installed or removed. Test on iPhone and Android (add card, offline view, status updates), and provide short handover notes. Requirements Proven experience integrating PassKit (or a similar wallet platform) with Apple Wallet and Google Wallet. Please share an example of a card or project you delivered.
