China Sourcing & Factory Visit Coordinator – Shanghai, Guangzhou & Dongguan

We are looking for an experienced China-based sourcing professional to support an upcoming manufacturing sourcing trip across Shanghai, Guangzhou and Dongguan from September 1–8, 2026. We are an international premium activewear and lifestyle brand looking to establish long-term relationships with high-quality manufacturers in China. This is not simply a translation or factory-tour role. We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of the Chinese apparel manufacturing industry who can help us identify, evaluate and coordinate meetings with manufacturers that genuinely match our requirements. What We Need The ideal candidate will support us with: Reviewing and evaluating manufacturers already on our sourcing list Identifying additional high-quality manufacturers in China Pre-screening factories before scheduling visits Contacting factories and confirming meetings Building an efficient factory visit itinerary Coordinating transportation and logistics between factory visits Assisting with booking domestic flights, particularly Shanghai → Guangzhou Accompanying us during factory meetings where possible English/Chinese translation and technical communication during meetings Collecting factory information, quotations, MOQs and development capabilities Helping compare and evaluate suppliers after meetings Coordinating sample collection and follow-ups We would ideally like on-the-ground support in both Shanghai and Guangzhou/Dongguan. If you are based in one region but have a trusted colleague or partner who can assist us in the other, please mention this in your proposal. Manufacturer Profile We are particularly interested in manufacturers with experience in: Premium activewear Compression and body-sculpting garments Seamless activewear Technical sportswear Functional knitwear Performance fabrics Advanced garment construction Fabric development and R&D Premium ready-to-wear / lifestyle apparel Factories with in-house pattern making, sampling, product development and fabric development capabilities are strongly preferred. Manufacturers should ideally have international export experience, strong QC systems and relevant certifications such as BSCI, WRAP or Sedex. We are interested in manufacturers that can accommodate reasonable initial MOQs while having the capacity to scale with the brand. Trip Schedule September 1 – Shanghai Arrive at 15:30. Evening potentially available for supplier meetings. September 2–3 – Shanghai Factory and supplier meetings. September 4 Day off / no factory visits. September 5 – Shanghai → Guangzhou / Dongguan Domestic flight followed by factory meetings where possible. September 6–7 – Guangzhou / Dongguan Full factory meeting schedule. September 8 – Guangzhou Morning available for final meetings, sample collection and follow-ups. Depart Guangzhou → Hanoi at 17:30. Ideal Candidate You should: Be based in China Speak fluent Mandarin and strong English Have direct experience sourcing apparel manufacturers Understand activewear and technical garment manufacturing Have an existing network of reliable factories Be comfortable evaluating factories beyond price alone Understand MOQ, sampling, development, production capacity and QC Be highly organized and capable of managing a multi-city sourcing itinerary Be available during September 1–8, 2026 Experience working with international fashion, activewear or premium apparel brands is highly preferred. Our priority is quality over quantity. We would rather visit a smaller number of highly relevant manufacturers than fill the itinerary with factories that do not meet our requirements.
