Fix Node.js API Issues & Optimize Next.js Frontend

I’m looking for a developer who can help me fix an issue with the API in an existing **Node.js project** and also do some optimization on the **Next.js frontend**. The project is already built, so I’m not looking for someone to build everything from scratch. I mainly need someone who can understand the existing code, find what is causing the problem, and fix it properly. ### What I need help with: * Find and fix the current Node.js API issue. * Make sure the API is working correctly with the frontend. * Check and improve the API request/response handling if needed. * Optimize some parts of the Next.js frontend. * Fix any frontend issues related to the API. * Make sure the changes don’t affect the existing features. * Keep the code clean and easy to maintain. ### Skills needed: * Node.js / Express * Next.js * JavaScript or TypeScript * REST APIs * Git/GitHub * Experience debugging existing projects I’d prefer someone who has worked on similar issues before and can explain what caused the problem and how they fixed it.
