Front-End Developer for Premium Animated Websites (Next.js / GSAP / AI-native workflow)

We’re looking for a strong front-end developer with good design taste to help us build premium animated websites. This is not a junior role. We already have the visual direction and core concepts. We need someone who can continue the work, implement sections cleanly, refine rough concepts, and turn AI-assisted output into a polished production frontend. This is not a generic frontend role. The work includes: * Dark premium marketing / brand websites * Scroll-driven storytelling * Premium on-scroll animations and interactions * Section-by-section refinement * Taking rough concepts, screenshots, or AI-generated outputs and making them feel authored in code Core stack / workflow * Next.js / React * Tailwind CSS * GSAP / ScrollTrigger * Motion / Framer Motion * AI-native coding / design workflows You should already be using AI tools heavily in real production work. However, we are looking for an experienced frontend engineer first—not someone who relies entirely on AI. You should be able to recognize weak output, improve it decisively in code, and build complex interactions from scratch when needed. We are looking for someone who can: * Get strong output from AI tools * Recognize when the output is weak or generic * Improve it decisively in code * Build polished, production-quality frontend without depending on AI * Ship polished sections without lowering the quality bar What matters most * Strong visual judgment * Extensive frontend development experience * Strong frontend implementation skills * Real fluency with AI-assisted coding/design workflows * Experience building premium animated, scroll-driven websites * Knowing how to keep frontend work from looking templated or obviously AI-generated * Ability to work independently * Ability to ship polished sections fast This starts with one active website project now, with potential for ongoing work across similar projects. At least one example of a premium, scroll-driven website with high-end animations and interactions. The more relevant examples, the better. 4. One example where you took a rough concept or AI-generated output and made it materially better in code. We review portfolios before reading cover letters. Trial: Paid 1–2 day trial on one specific section. If it goes well, ongoing engagement starts immediately. Cadence: Part-time initially. Can scale if the work is strong.
