Full-Stack Developer for Professional Sport Talent & Recruitment Platform

We are JP Sport Collective, a professional rugby player representation and sports consultancy business working internationally with professional players, clubs, coaches and recruitment teams. We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build a modern rugby talent and recruitment platform. This is not a standard brochure website. The objective is to create a fast, professional and highly visual recruitment platform where professional clubs and coaches can search our player database, view detailed profiles and videos, compare players, create shortlists and identify players who are available for recruitment. Core functionality will include: • Professional, mobile-first website • Searchable player database/roster • Advanced filtering by position, age, nationality, eligibility, contract status, availability, level etc. • Individual player profiles with photos, career information, physical data and videos • Player availability/contract status • Powerful but simple admin system so our team can manage players ourselves • Downloadable player CV/PDF profiles • Unique shareable player profile links • Featured players and curated player categories • Player enquiry functionality • Sponsor/partner integration More advanced functionality will include: • Interactive player cards with position-specific attributes/ratings • Video clips tagged by individual rugby skills • Ability to select a skill/attribute and immediately view the relevant clips • Head-to-head player comparison • Favourite players and recruitment shortlists • Coach/scout accounts • PDF/shortlist exports • QR/profile sharing • Profile and video analytics Future development may include saved player searches, availability alerts, scout watchlists, player portals, recruitment CRM functionality and squad-building tools. The user experience is extremely important. The platform will primarily be used by busy professional rugby coaches and recruitment staff, often on mobile devices. The core journey should be: SEARCH → VIEW → WATCH → COMPARE → SHORTLIST → ENQUIRE We already have design/Figma work available and are looking for someone who can turn the concept into a high-quality, scalable platform. We are open to recommendations regarding the technology stack. Experience with Laravel, React/Vue, modern database applications, SaaS platforms, recruitment platforms or marketplaces would be particularly relevant. The project will preferably be delivered in phases, beginning with the core player database and recruitment platform before adding the more advanced functionality.
