I’m looking for an experienced developer to review and implement a finance enquiry widget on an equipment dealer’s website. I created the initial design and code using ChatGPT. A working demonstration and source package are available. I need someone to review the implementation, make any necessary fixes and manage deployment. You will liaise with the website’s existing developer to arrange installation, or implement it yourself if suitable access is provided. About the widget Visitors click “Request a Finance Quote” on a product page, complete a popup form and submit an enquiry to a lending company. The form collects contact details, finance amount and preferred term. It also includes the dealer name, equipment name and product URL. There is no repayment calculator or instant pricing. Assets supplied Responsive HTML/CSS/JavaScript design. Popup and embeddable widget code. Node.js backend for form processing. Email integration using Resend. Cloudflare Turnstile integration for spam protection. Configuration examples, installation documentation and automated backend tests. The code has been tested locally, but live email delivery and integration with the dealer’s website still need to be completed. Your responsibilities Review the ChatGPT-generated code for functionality, security and suitability for deployment. Confirm the website platform and hosting requirements. Recommend whether to deploy the existing Node.js backend or adapt it to the available hosting. Coordinate with the website developer and provide clear installation instructions, or carry out the installation. Connect the product name, URL and price where available. Configure hosting, email delivery and spam protection. Apply supplied final privacy and consent wording. Test submissions, error handling and popup behaviour on desktop and mobile. Provide a brief handover and an agreed period of support for implementation defects. The widget should remain reusable for installation on other dealer websites. Required experience HTML, CSS, JavaScript, backend development, form/email integrations and website deployment.
