Job title: Full-stack developer to fix and improve an existing startup and investor platform I’m looking for an experienced developer to take over and improve Nexus (nexus-hub.com), a platform connecting quantum startups with investors, corporate partners and advisers. The website is already built, but there are bugs affecting core functionality. I need someone who can understand the existing code, prioritise fixes and help us build a reliable platform that can grow. Current setup Source code hosted on GitHub. Supabase used for the database and registration. Separate startup and investor journeys. Airtable used for some operational workflows. Repository access and the handover from the previous contractor are currently being resolved. Please confirm the application’s framework and architecture during your initial review. Initial priorities Review the codebase, database structure and deployment setup. Fix onboarding so startups and investors see the correct questions and fields. Resolve broken company-profile pages, navigation errors and repeated onboarding. Check authentication, account roles and permissions so users can only access appropriate information. Review data handling, error reporting and any critical security or reliability issues. Provide a prioritised plan showing what needs fixing, estimated effort and dependencies. Further development Once the core platform is stable, I’d like to develop: An internal CRM for startups, investors, corporate partners, advisers and other contacts. Tracking for introductions, conversations, fundraising progress and follow-ups. Clear dashboards showing activity, outstanding actions and opportunities. A startup portal where founders can update their profiles and see approved progress on introductions. Integrations with Gmail and Airtable, including safeguards against duplicate records. Investor matching based on relevant criteria, with introductions prepared for approval. The initial engagement should focus on the audit and critical fixes. Further features can be scoped and agreed afterwards. How I’d like to work I’m looking for clear communication, realistic estimates and regular demonstrations of working changes. All code should be committed to a GitHub repository controlled by Nexus, with infrastructure accounts under our control and documentation sufficient for another developer to maintain the platform. Changes should be tested in a separate environment before release, with particular care around existing user data.
