Full-Stack / Front-End Developer Needed: Vercel Deployment, Security & Mobile UI/UX Redesign Polish (48-72 Hour Sprint) Description Project Summary We are preparing to launch a curated lifestyle and directory web application built using Base44 and exported to a private GitHub repository. We need a talented Front-End / Full-Stack Developer with a strong eye for modern UI design for a 3-day sprint covering deployment, security hardening, and a visual/stylistic UI upgrade across mobile screens. Key Deliverables & Scope of Work 1. Hosting & Custom Domain Deployment: • Connect our existing private GitHub repository (exported from Base44) to Vercel/Render under our account. • Configure our custom domain with full SSL/HTTPS setup. 2. Environment Variables & API Security: • Securely configure external API keys (AI integration and payment gateway) in serverless environment variables so secrets are kept server-side and never exposed in the front-end code or browser. 3. Stylistic UI/UX Upgrade & Mobile Polish: • Visual Styling Enhancements: Refine directory cards, filter tags, hero banners, and venue layouts so the app looks premium, modern, and polished. • Responsive Layouts: Ensure immaculate padding, font hierarchy, and card spacing across all mobile screen sizes (iOS & Android). • Interaction & Micro-Animations: Improve button states, filter switching transitions, and loading states (skeleton loaders/spinners). • User Flow & Error States: Implement clean, friendly fallback states for empty searches or network drops. 4. Basic Security & Access Audit: • Review authentication routes, user roles, and data access policies to ensure API keys and user data paths are protected against unauthorized access. Required Skills • Base44 & React/Next.js: Hands-on experience working with, deploying, and styling Base44 app codebases exported to GitHub. • Design & Styling: Advanced Tailwind CSS, modern web UI design principles, mobile-first responsive design. • Deployment & Cloud: Vercel / Render, GitHub workflows. • APIs & Security: Third-party API integration, Web Payment Gateways, Environment Variables. Communication & How We Work • Communication: Direct, clear messaging via Upwork. Brief daily updates as milestones are completed. • IP Protection: Selected candidate must sign a standard NDA / IP Assignment Agreement prior to receiving repository access. • Turnaround: 48–72 hour sprint.
