LTI Developer for Brightspace

We are seeking a consultant with hands-on experience implementing production LTI 1.3/LTI Advantage integrations, preferably with Brightspace and Canvas, using Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies. The consultant will help implement secure authentication, course and assignment workflows, grade passback, persistent LMS identities and student progress, multi-tenant data handling, automated tests, and a repeatable local end-to-end setup using a self-hosted Canvas instance before connecting to a real institution. (edited) Scope of Work, you will help us: - Implement and refine LTI 1.3 Advantage integration - Enable Single Sign-On (SSO) from LMS to NetEmulator - Support deep linking (lab/course launch from LMS) - Implement grade passback to LMS gradebook - Ensure compatibility across: - Brightspace - Troubleshoot LMS-specific integration issues We are looking for someone with experience in: - LTI 1.3 / LTI Advantage (Deep Linking, Names & Roles, AGS) - Brightspace integrations - OAuth 2.0 / JWT-based authentication - REST APIsTechnical Requirements What Success Looks Like: - Students can launch labs directly from Brightspace - No separate login required (SSO works seamlessly) - Grades sync automatically to LMS gradebook - Instructors can assign labs like native LMS content
