Seeking a blockchain engineer for Blockchain Marketplace + AI

About the Role We are building a next-generation decentralized marketplace that bridges the gap between AI model hosting and blockchain technology. Our platform enables AI developers to mint models as NFTs, license their work via smart contracts, and earn automated royalties—all while providing seamless inference services to end-users. We are looking for a seasoned Blockchain Engineer to take ownership of the on-chain architecture. This is not just a token deployment role; you will be designing the economic engine that powers the AI economy. What You'll Build & Own - Smart Contract Architecture: Design and deploy robust contracts for NFT-based model ownership, on-chain licensing (Personal/Commercial/Enterprise), and automated royalty distribution. - Payment & Settlement Layers: Implement multi-currency payment rails (cryptocurrency & fiat on-ramps) and integrate smart contract escrow for pay-per-use API inference. - Cross-Chain Strategy: Work across EVM-compatible chains (Ethereum, Base, Polygon) and explore Solana integration for high-throughput settlements. - Oracle & Data Integrity: Build secure bridges between off-chain AI inference results (usage data, compute costs) and on-chain settlement mechanisms to ensure accurate billing and royalty splits. - Security & Auditing: Lead internal security reviews, write comprehensive tests (Foundry/Hardhat), and collaborate with external auditors to ensure production-grade safety. What You Bring - Experience: 4+ years in software engineering, with at least 2–3 years specifically focused on blockchain/Web3 (Solidity, Rust, or Cairo). - Smart Contract Mastery: Deep understanding of EVM internals, upgradeable proxies, gas optimization, and OpenZeppelin standards (ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-20). - DeFi/NFT Protocols: Proven track record of shipping production contracts—whether for AMMs, vaults, staking, or licensing. - Full-Stack Awareness: Comfortable interacting with off-chain components (Node.js/NestJS or Python FastAPI) to connect the smart contracts with the AI inference layer. - Security Mindset: Strong grasp of reentrancy, access control, front-running, and cross-chain attack vectors. Bonus Points - Experience with UTxO-based chains (Cardano/Aiken or Solana/Anchor). - Familiarity with decentralized storage (IPFS, Arweave). - Exposure to AI/ML pipelines or model inference serving.
