Senior AI Engineer - Build Autonomous AI Agents & Business Automation

American Screening Corporation (ASC), a leading distributor of drug testing and medical screening products based in Shreveport, LA, is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to build autonomous AI agents that run core business workflows. Our goal: agents that work loops end-to-end with minimal human input - sales outreach, lead qualification, customer service, collections follow-up, reporting, and operations automation - to help us scale revenue aggressively. What you'll build: - Autonomous/agentic AI systems (task planning, tool use, looping agents with guardrails and human-in-the-loop checkpoints) - Integrations with our stack: NetSuite ERP, HubSpot CRM, Shopify/WooCommerce, email, and phone/SMS platforms - LLM pipelines (OpenAI/Anthropic APIs), RAG over product and customer data, prompt orchestration - Monitoring, evals, and cost controls so agents are reliable in production What we're looking for: - 5+ years software engineering (Python and/or Node.js), 1+ year building LLM/agentic systems in production - Hands-on with agent frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenAI Assistants, Claude agents, or similar) and workflow tools (n8n, Make, Zapier) - Strong API integration experience (REST, webhooks, OAuth); NetSuite or HubSpot experience a big plus - Ability to ship fast, measure results, and iterate - Overlap with US Central Time business hours This is a long-term, contract-to-hire opportunity with room to lead our AI engineering as we scale.
