Senior Automation Developer — Production System Takeover and Ongoing Support About the project HEADS is a salon and hair-replacement business in the Philippines. We have an existing production automation system handling customer enquiries, website leads, CRM routing, appointment-related workflows and human handovers. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on developer to take over technical responsibility, verify the existing implementation, resolve agreed issues and provide ongoing maintenance and improvements. This is not a new build. Maintaining business continuity is the first priority. Current architecture Instagram and Facebook conversations run through ManyChat → custom Cloudflare Worker → OpenAI and GoHighLevel. ManyChat handles the messaging interface; the Worker handles the AI and routing logic. Consultation forms across nine websites submit leads to the Worker, which matches or creates GHL contacts, stores fields, applies tags and creates opportunities in the appropriate pipelines. Native GHL Voice AI operates separately from the ManyChat/Worker conversation flow. WhatsApp integration is a planned workstream, with GHL WhatsApp Coexistence to be assessed before implementation. Supporting components include an OpenAI Vector Store, Cloudinary product images and Google Sheets lead logging where configured. Initial assignment Review the existing source code, technical handovers and account configuration. Confirm that the documented source matches the deployed version and identify missing dependencies, reliability risks and documentation gaps. Test the existing customer journeys, including lead capture, contact matching, pipeline routing, AI responses, human escalation and pause/resume behaviour. Establish or verify an owner-controlled private code repository, configuration backups, a safe test environment, a controlled deployment process and rollback instructions. Deliver a prioritised findings report and separately priced recommendations. Implement only approved changes after testing. Ongoing responsibilities Maintain the Worker and integrations, investigate failures, monitor lead delivery and AI behaviour, maintain field/tag mappings and approved knowledge-base content, and support improvements to lead handling and appointment conversion. Keep the technical documentation current and provide clear operating instructions for our team. Required experience Strong JavaScript development, Cloudflare Workers, REST APIs, webhooks and structured JSON. GoHighLevel APIs and workflows, including contacts, custom fields, tags, opportunities, tasks and calendars. ManyChat Instagram/Facebook integrations, external requests and human handover controls. OpenAI API integrations, knowledge-base retrieval, response validation and safe fallback behaviour. Production troubleshooting, secure access management, version control, testing and rollback. Experience with native GHL Voice AI and GHL WhatsApp Coexistence is strongly preferred. Please clearly identify any component you would need specialist support for. Working requirements All accounts, source code and documentation remain under HEADS ownership. No unapproved platform migrations, model changes or production releases. No sharing customer data, credentials or source code through public repositories. We expect clear communication, documented changes and agreed support coverage during Philippine business hours. Engagement: Paid takeover audit first, followed by approved implementation milestones and an ongoing support arrangement.
