Senior Next.js & Node.js Developer for Multilingual Tours Booking Platform

We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer or development team to build a professional, scalable Tours & Attractions booking platform. This is not a simple brochure website or static travel website. We need a complete tourism platform where we can manage destinations, tours, attractions, availability, bookings, payments, multilingual content, SEO, customers, and future integrations from an admin dashboard. The platform should be built with a modern architecture and designed to scale to thousands of tour and destination pages. Preferred Technology We are considering: Next.js / React Node.js PostgreSQL or MySQL API-based backend architecture Cloudflare Modern secure hosting infrastructure We are open to technical recommendations, but SEO performance, scalability, security, and maintainability are extremely important. Tour Management We need to be able to create and edit unlimited tours. Each tour should support information such as: Tour title URL slug Short description Full description Highlights Included Not included Know before you go Duration Starting times Languages Pickup information Meeting point Adult price Child price Infant price Images/gallery FAQs Cancellation policy Related tours SEO information Tours can have multiple options. For example: Hurghada Quad Bike Safari Options: Without Transfer Shared Transfer Private Transfer Sunrise Sunset Dinner & Stargazing Every option can have its own: Price Adult price Child price Duration Availability Starting time Inclusions Capacity Add-ons Booking System We need a complete booking engine. Pricing may depend on: Adult/child count Tour option Add-ons Pickup location Private/shared transfer Discounts Seasonal pricing Availability Admin should be able to control: Available dates Closed dates Available weekdays Starting times Capacity Minimum participants Maximum participants Booking cutoff time Example: A tour at 15:00 may have a maximum capacity of 20 guests. When capacity is reached, that time should no longer be available. Booking Management The admin dashboard should allow us to manage all bookings. Booking statuses may include: Pending Confirmed Payment Pending Partially Paid Paid Cancelled Refunded Completed No Show Every booking should receive a unique booking reference. We should be able to search/filter bookings by: Reference number Customer Tour Destination Date Booking status Payment status Booking confirmation emails should be automatically sent to customers. Future WhatsApp Business API integration should also be possible. Payment Integration The architecture should support multiple payment gateways. Possible integrations include: Stripe PayPal Paymob Checkout.com Other providers later The payment architecture must be modular so another gateway can be added later without rebuilding the entire booking system. Customers may be allowed to: Pay 100% online Pay a deposit Pay remaining balance later Pay cash on arrival Admin should be able to configure this per tour. Payments must use secure server-side verification/webhooks. Multilingual Website The website should be designed from the beginning for multiple languages. Languages may include: English German French Italian Spanish Russian Arabic Arabic must support proper RTL layout. Each language should have its own URL. Changing the language while viewing a tour should take the customer to the translated version of the same tour, not simply the homepage. SEO Requirements SEO is one of the most important parts of this project. Each language page should have its own self-referencing canonical URL. We do not want all translated pages canonicalized back to English.
