Senior Python / AI Trading Engineer

Seeking a senior Python engineer to build a safety-first options trading system that captures authorized Discord trade alerts, parses signals, pulls Charles Schwab market data, applies strict risk controls, previews approved trades, manages positions, reconciles with Schwab, and records performance. The system should include deterministic parsing with AI fallback, dry-run mode, duplicate-order prevention, crash recovery, stops, exits, partial fills, broker reconciliation, and a trade ledger with analytics and alerts. Development will occur through remote access to my controlled development environment, with OpenAI Codex available for AI-assisted coding. The developer must be able to direct, review, test, and debug Codex-generated code rather than blindly relying on AI. Code, repository, credentials, and infrastructure remain under my control. AI may assist with signal interpretation, but it must never bypass deterministic risk-management rules or independently authorize trades.
