ROLE OVERVIEW We are seeking a senior developer with deep expertise in Strapi and React/Vue.js/Next.js to take technical ownership of the platform's development and architectural direction. The core stack includes a Next.js front-end and a Strapi headless CMS. The platform serves approximately 600 registered accounts and is scaling to provide critical technical assistance across multiple regions. Our goal is to provide a stable, modern, and highly-instrumented platform that operates with high autonomy. You will lead a clean transition off legacy infrastructure, execute backlog items, and drive a phased modularization plan to address security, performance, and technical debt. RESPONSIBILITIES Lead a phased modularization of the Strapi architecture, extracting authentication and custom business logic into dedicated services. Execute the prioritized backlog, including new topic pages, a collaboration board, and search/filter standardization. Implement responsive front-end designs for mobile, tablet, and laptop based on design specifications. Remediate critical security vulnerabilities, including XSS exposure, JWT storage issues, and end-of-life library dependencies. Optimize technical SEO via server-side rendering (SSR) and crawlability improvements. Remediate WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility findings across high-traffic page templates. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Extensive experience with Strapi CMS, including custom controllers, policies, and lifecycle hooks. Senior-level proficiency in React and Next.js development. Solid backend experience with Node.js for service-layer extraction. Strong understanding of security best practices (XSS, JWT session management, OWASP recommendations). Experience with infrastructure migration is a plus Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. NICE TO HAVE Experience with Vue 2 to Vue 3 migrations. Familiarity with PostHog or Mixpanel for functional product analytics. Experience with Azure Container Apps and Microsoft Azure Sponsorship subscriptions.
