Clear Choice System Marketing is a remote-first local marketing agency serving small and mid-sized businesses across the United States. We are engaging an experienced web designer to own the design, build, and ongoing technical health of client websites. This is a long-term engagement with consistent monthly volume, not a one-off project. What the engagement covers: New builds ------ - Design and build client websites in WordPress, Shopify, - and GoHighLevel - Build landing pages and funnels in GoHighLevel - Build and configure e-commerce stores in Shopify, including products, collections, checkout, payment, and shipping setup - Implement on-page and technical SEO during the build: site structure, heading hierarchy, metadata, schema markup, image optimization, Core Web Vitals, mobile performance Existing client sites------ - Maintain and troubleshoot a live portfolio of client websites - Resolve site outages, plugin conflicts, theme breakage, and performance issues - Perform site migrations, DNS changes, SSL setup, and hosting configuration - Maintain and extend existing custom code on legacy client sites Technical and integration work ------- - Custom code work in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP as builds require - API and webhook integrations between client sites and our internal systems - Configure and troubleshoot Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and Google Tag Manager, including conversion tracking Required experience -------- - Three or more years building and maintaining client websites in an agency or freelance capacity - Demonstrated proficiency across WordPress, Shopify, and GoHighLevel - Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, sufficient to write and debug custom code rather than only configure themes and page builders - Hands-on technical SEO implementation experience, not theoretical familiarity - Experience with hosting environments, DNS management, domain configuration, and SSL - Strong written English and reliable, proactive communication across time zones Strongly preferred ------- - GoHighLevel experience at both agency and sub-account level - A portfolio demonstrating genuine design quality, not just functional builds - Local SEO experience, particularly Google Business Profile - Experience with Core Web Vitals remediation Details ----------- - Engagement: Full-time salaried contractor (outcomes-based, no hours tracking) - Availability: Meaningful overlap with U.S. business hours required for team meetings and leadership syncs - Trial period: 30-day paid trial before committing to long-term engagement How to apply----------- Please include: - Portfolio links.
