Website Management and Migration

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Web Developer / Website Manager for an ongoing, flexible role. The successful applicant will primarily manage and maintain our website, with additional ad hoc development and website work as required. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain our website on an ongoing basis Keep WordPress, themes and plugins up to date Monitor website security, performance and functionality Set up and maintain a staging website to test changes before they are made to the live website Ensure plugin updates and website changes are tested to prevent live pages or functionality from being affected Maintain regular backups and have a reliable rollback/recovery process Troubleshoot and fix website issues Assist with transferring our website to a new hosting provider Manage hosting, DNS, SSL and other technical requirements Complete ad hoc website changes and development work as required Work with our SEO and marketing providers to implement technical changes About You: You should have strong experience with WordPress, website hosting, migrations, staging environments, plugin management and website security. You must be reliable, proactive and comfortable acting as our ongoing go-to person for website-related technical matters. This is a long-term, ad hoc role, rather than a full-time position.
