WordPress Rebuild: Genesis → Astra, 300+ Articles, Page Extraction, Zero E-Commerce

I have an existing WordPress site at conqueryourpcosnaturally.com running on the outdated Genesis framework with WPBakery Page Builder. The site is on an old PHP version and cannot be safely updated in its current state. I am rebuilding the site from scratch. No WooCommerce, no membership system, no customer data, and no email marketing integration is required. SCOPE OF WORK Backup & Export Create a full backup of the existing site before any work begins. Export all content via WordPress XML: posts, pages, media, categories, tags, and comments. Export Yoast SEO data (titles, meta descriptions, focus keywords). Fresh Installation Install the latest version of WordPress on a staging/temporary domain (I will provide hosting/cPanel access). Install and activate the Astra theme (free version from WordPress.org). Update PHP to 8.1 or 8.2. Set the site to noindex (Settings → Reading → Discourage search engines) so Google does not index the temporary domain. Content Migration Import all blog posts (300+) and all existing pages via XML. Ensure all permalinks remain identical to the old site (/post-name/ structure). Regenerate thumbnails so featured images display correctly. Spot-check the top 20 trafficked posts to confirm formatting survived the migration. Page Extraction & Rebuild (Gutenberg Only — No Page Builders) A. C. Build these pages fresh in Gutenberg: Homepage: Hero headline, 2–3 sentence intro, 2 CTA buttons linking to external URLs, grid of latest 6 blog posts. Blog: Set as the site’s posts archive page. Redirects Set up 301 redirects for all old sales/funnel pages to the Coming Soon page (/coming-soon/). Any other old product or sales pages should redirect to the Coming Soon page unless I specify otherwise. Note: When I provide new external sales page URLs in the future, I will ask you to update these redirects accordingly. Plugin Audit & Cleanup Keep: Yoast SEO, WP Rocket, Gravity Forms, Really Simple Security, Smush, WPCode, Flamingo, Print My Blog. Delete: Autoptimize, Speed Optimizer, Blog Designer, Soliloquy, WPBakery Page Builder (after extraction), Instagram Feed, Simple Social Icons, and any other redundant or unused plugins. Remove entirely: The broken AWeber API integration. Do not install any replacement email marketing plugin (Mailchimp, ConvertKit, etc.). The contact form should send only to my admin email. Run a database search-and-replace (using Better Search Replace plugin or WP-CLI) to update ALL instances of the temporary domain to conqueryourpcosnaturally.com in posts, pages, and metadata. Verify images load correctly and internal links point to the correct domain. Remove the noindex setting. Confirm all redirects are active on the live domain. Quality Assurance Test mobile responsiveness on iPhone and Android sizes. Run Google PageSpeed Insights before (on old site) and after (on new site) and provide the comparison. Verify the contact form and Coming Soon form successfully deliver emails. Confirm all internal links work and no 404 errors exist on migrated content. WHAT I WILL PROVIDE WordPress admin login for the existing site. Hosting/cPanel login (or a temporary admin account for you). Homepage and About page copy. Logo file (PNG/SVG), author photo, and book cover images for the About page. My email address for form delivery. Confirmation of any plugins - beyond your recommendation - that I want to keep.
