Job Title: Build Offline-First NGO Health Screening PWA (React / Dexie.js / Service Workers) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Mobile Web / PWA Developer to build CareBridge, an offline-first Progressive Web Application (PWA) for our healthcare NGO (CareBridge NGO). The app empowers field health ambassadors conducting community health screenings and preventive care outreach in West Africa (Guinea). Because our ambassadors operate in remote and peri-urban areas with unstable internet, the app must be lightweight, reliable, and 100% functional offline. Key Screening Modules & NGO Requirements * 100% Offline Field Screening Engine (Dexie.js / IndexedDB): * Ambassadors must be able to log patient registrations, take vital signs, and run screening protocols without cellular data. All data must store locally using IndexedDB (via Dexie.js). * Core Disease Screening Workflows: * Chronic Conditions (Diabetes & Stroke Prevention): Digital blood pressure (systolic/diastolic tracking) and capillary blood glucose (glucometer logs). * Infectious & Preventable Diseases: Malaria Rapid Diagnostic Test (mRDT) logging and Cholera / acute dehydration symptom checklists. * Maternal & Child Health: Mid-Upper Arm Circumference (MUAC) for acute malnutrition tracking in children. * Multi-Language Spoken Audio Engine (33 Dialects): * Pre-recorded MP3 audio clips stored locally to play spoken screening questions in local dialects (Pular, Maninka, Susu, etc.) for non-literate community members. * Automated Clinical Triage Logic: * Automated rule engine calculating risk scores based on vitals and test results. * Categorizes risk into GREEN (Routine), YELLOW (Moderate), or CRITICAL_RED (Emergency Referral). * Generates a unique emergency referral code (e.g., CB-2026-88910). * Background Sync to Hospital EMR: * Service Worker that detects network connectivity and automatically pushes pending referral records via JSON (POST /api/v1/referrals/ingest) to our hospital network (Nexus EMR) upon reconnection. Tech Stack Requirements * Frontend: React / Next.js, Tailwind CSS (Mobile-first, clean UI) * Offline Storage: Dexie.js (IndexedDB), Service Workers, PWA Web App Manifest * API Integration: RESTful JSON APIs, Async sync queue Deliverables * Clean, mobile-optimized PWA codebase (GitHub repository). * Local audio playback system with offline asset caching. * Offline queue and sync manager with background sync capability. * Clean documentation for handoff.
