Full-Stack Developer (Medusa v2, TypeScript)

We're migrating to Medusa v2, and we are expanding the team. What you’ll do Own migraton from shopify to Medusa Own our Medusa v2 commerce backend and storefront, from the product catalogue to checkout. Build and maintain custom modules, workflows, API routes, subscribers and admin extensions. Keep a large, fast-changing product catalogue accurate and fast: products, variants, regional prices, stock and images. Make checkout correct across currencies, regions, payment providers and shipping options. Integrate the store with payment, shipping, inventory and marketing systems. Work in an AI-assisted engineering workflow: write clear specifications, review AI-written code, and prove that changes work with tests. What we need Production experience with Medusa v2: modules, workflows with compensation steps, module links and admin customisation. Strong TypeScript and Node.js, plus a Next.js storefront. Good PostgreSQL skills, including performance on large tables. Payments in production, such as Stripe, PayPal including webhooks and refunds. Tests you write yourself, and the habit of checking that a change produced the correct result, not just that it ran. Nice to have Migrating a store from Shopify to Medusa v2. Multi-currency, multi-region pricing and tax. ERP or inventory system integration. Product feeds for shopping channels. Search tools such as Meilisearch or Algolia. Redis and queues.
