Full-Stack Developer to Build a Secure Online Assessment & Automated Reporting Platform

Project Overview Alyek Studios is seeking an experienced full-stack developer to build and deploy the first working version (V0.1) of The Infrastructure of Care (TIC) Personal Audit, a proprietary online diagnostic assessment and reporting platform. The platform will enable individuals to complete a structured assessment, identify patterns of responsibility and dependency across their lives, and receive a personalised diagnostic report. The product specifications, assessment instrument, diagnostic framework, reporting content and functional requirements have already been fully developed and documented. We are looking for a developer who can take technical ownership of the project, recommend an appropriate architecture and deliver a secure, functional application ready for a controlled pilot. Existing codebase A partial build exists in React/TypeScript and Supabase, with working authentication and initial consent flows. This codebase is available for the developer to review as part of the initial audit milestone. We are not prescribing whether to continue from this foundation or begin a clean build. We ask the developer to assess the existing work and recommend the most efficient path forward, with clear rationale and cost implications either way. The decision rests with the developer based on their professional assessment. Key Features 1. User accounts and authentication – Secure registration, login, email verification and password recovery. 2. Online assessment – Seven-section structured questionnaire with mandatory responses. – Save-and-return functionality and secure submission. 3. Automated report generation – Deterministic, rule-based assembly of personalised six-section reports using predefined diagnostic logic and approved content. – Downloadable PDF reports. – No generative AI in report production. 4. Report review and approval – Secure reviewer interface displaying assessment results and generated draft reports. – Ability to correct diagnostic assignments before delivery. – Initially, mandatory human approval before each report is delivered to participants. – Subsequent Product Owner-controlled transition to automated delivery with ongoing spot-check review. 5. Data protection and research consent – Secure storage of participant information, assessment responses and reports. – Explicit research consent capture and withdrawal procedures. – Role-based access controls. 6. Email notifications – Assessment submission confirmation to participant. – Administrator notification on submission. – Report availability notification to participant. Technology and Architecture We have an existing partial build in React/TypeScript and Supabase. We are open to the developer recommending whether to continue from this foundation or begin a clean build, with clear rationale and cost implications for each option. Whatever the recommended stack, the preferred solution should be secure, maintainable, cost-effective and capable of supporting future development without unnecessary complexity. The developer will be responsible for recommending the architecture, explaining the rationale, implementing the platform, and providing full technical documentation and handover. All project-specific source code, data and intellectual property must remain under the client's ownership and control, subject to applicable third-party licences.
