The Tree of Life Platform Prototype

Overview: We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Developer or Creative Technologist to build the Minimum Viable Product for The Tree of Life Platform. This is a faith-centered digital ecosystem designed to transform abstract global data into a tool for visual poetry and spiritual awakening. The core visual concept centers around a majestic digital silhouette of the General Sherman Tree. Every leaf represents a living soul. The application needs to pull live or baseline global data to simulate real-time human life transitions, causing leaves to gently detach, float downward, and sound a reverent trumpet. Core Technical Requirements for the MVP: 1. Frontend Canvas: Build an optimized, highly fluid interactive web canvas using Three.js or WebGL rendering a stylized General Sherman Tree canopy. 2. Particle Simulation and Audio: Program a physics-based particle drift animation where leaves gently slide and fall from the canopy at a continuous baseline rate of 1.75 to 2.1 leaves per second. A reverent, high-quality trumpet or horn sound effect must trigger globally whenever a leaf falls. 3. Backend Data Engine: Create a script using Node.js or Python that interfaces with open public health data endpoints. For the MVP, a localized JSON baseline distribution dataset can serve as a fallback to map color-coding by global region and size-scaling by age bracket. 4. Interaction Layer: Implement an interactive hover or click state on falling or resting leaves. Clicking an anonymous leaf must pull up a minimal text modal: A soul has been called home by the Lord. Project Scope and Deliverables: This contract is for an initial functional prototype focused entirely on smooth animation performance and data mapping accuracy. If successful, there is immediate opportunity for long-term contract extensions to build features including user profile sign-ups, an emergency notification gateway, and premium tribute integrations.
