WordPress Developer for Website Maintenance & CRM Integrations

About the Opportunity We're a U.S.-based financial services firm seeking an experienced independent contractor or small agency to provide ongoing technical maintenance and support for our WordPress website and connected marketing technology systems. Our primary need is a dependable technical partner who can proactively maintain our website, troubleshoot issues independently, and serve as a single point of contact for technical support. We also anticipate opportunities for additional development and integration projects. Our Tech Stack: WordPress, Elementor, Gravity Forms, WP Engine, custom WordPress plugins, Salesforce Sales Cloud, HubSpot, Zapier, Google Tag Manager, and GA4. Responsibilities Website Maintenance & Technical Support - Establish and manage proactive WordPress maintenance, including core, theme, and plugin updates, backups, uptime monitoring, and functionality testing. - Maintain and troubleshoot Elementor, Gravity Forms, WP Engine, and custom website plugins. - Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including urgent website problems. - Test updates and changes carefully to protect existing functionality and integrations. CRM, Marketing Automation & Integrations - Troubleshoot data flow and integration issues involving Gravity Forms, Zapier, HubSpot, and Salesforce. - Support approved HubSpot workflow development and improvements involving lead nurturing, routing, lifecycle stages, and internal notifications. - Troubleshoot HubSpot–Salesforce synchronization, field mappings, automation issues, and data inconsistencies. - Implement approved technical fixes, configurations, and automation improvements. Projects & Documentation - Support separately scoped development and integration projects as needed. - Maintain clear documentation of critical configurations, maintenance procedures, integrations, and technical changes. - Serve as our primary technical contact and coordinate any additional specialist assistance when necessary. Required Qualifications - Strong experience administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting WordPress websites, including Elementor and Gravity Forms. - Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zapier, and CRM/marketing automation integrations. - Experience troubleshooting custom WordPress plugins and interconnected systems. - Ability to independently investigate technical problems and drive issues to resolution. - Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Preferred Experience - PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and webhooks. - Google Tag Manager, GA4, and marketing attribution. - AI tools and integrations involving Salesforce or HubSpot. - Experience supporting financial services organizations or systems handling sensitive client information. Engagement Details - Type: Ongoing, part-time contract. Individuals and small agencies welcome. - Workload: Approximately 20+ hours per month initially, with additional project work as approved. Final commitment to be determined. - Availability: Flexible scheduling with dependable availability during Pacific Time business hours and agreed response times for urgent issues. - Compensation: Hourly or proposed ongoing support arrangement, based on experience and scope. - Security: Confidentiality, appropriate data security practices, and an NDA will be required.
