Concrete5 + PHP developer: fix webcam image block that broke after a PHP upgrade Overview - We’re a digital agency looking for a developer with solid PHP skills and hands-on experience with the Concrete5 CMS and its dashboard. A client’s older Concrete5 website has a webcam feed on its home page that stopped working after the server’s PHP version was upgraded to a secure, supported 5.6.40 release. We need someone to find out why and fix it so the site can stay on the secure PHP version. This is a highly urgent task that we would like fix ASAP The issue - - The home page has a custom webcam block that shows the latest image from an on-site camera. - A new image is uploaded to a folder on the server every 15 minutes. - The image name/path is hidden so the feed can’t be copied onto other websites. - The feed stopped working when PHP was upgraded. Switching back to the old PHP version fixes it straight away, and switching to the secure version breaks it again. What we need - - Find out why the webcam feed fails on the secure PHP version. - Fix the code (block, controller, helper scripts or whatever is causing it) so the feed works on the current secure PHP version. - Keep the existing setup as it is: the upload folders, the hidden image path and the home page block should work the same way they do now. - Confirm the fix works by checking that new images show on the home page as they arrive. - Send a short summary of what was wrong and what you changed.
