Full Stack Product Engineer to Launch HIPAA‑Ready AI Healthcare SaaS

I've built an AI‑powered healthcare SaaS product using AI coding tools. The core features work, but the codebase needs a strong engineer to make it stable, secure, HIPAA‑ready and launch ready. Product name and details will be shared after an NDA is signed. I'm looking for a full stack product engineer who can own this end to end: review what's there, fix what's broken, tighten the UX, and get it live. STACK • Frontend: Next.js • Backend: Python • Database and auth: Supabase • Payments: Stripe • AI layer: LangChain WHAT YOU'LL DO • Audit the codebase and share a short written report: what's solid, what's risky, what to fix first • Fix bugs and refactor fragile or duplicated AI‑generated code across the Next.js frontend and Python backend • Lock down security: Supabase auth and Row Level Security, exposed API keys, input validation • Review the app against HIPAA requirements: PHI handling, encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, audit logging, session timeouts • Make sure PHI never leaks into logs, analytics, error tracking or LLM calls sent to vendors without a BAA • Make the LangChain layer production ready: error handling, retries, timeouts, prompt reliability, token cost control • Set up and test Stripe subscriptions, webhooks and billing flows end to end • Improve UX on core flows: onboarding, main workflow, empty and error states • Production deployment, custom domain, environments and CI/CD • Add HIPAA‑safe error monitoring, logging and product analytics • Launch prep: final QA, landing page fixes, SEO basics MUST HAVE • 4+ years of full stack experience with Next.js and a Python backend (FastAPI or similar) • Hands‑on production experience with LangChain or LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) • Solid Supabase experience, including RLS policies • Stripe subscriptions and webhook implementation • You've taken at least one product from MVP to real users (please share the link) • Comfortable working inside AI‑generated code without rewriting everything from scratch • Product sense: you'll push back on features that don't make sense and suggest simpler options • Clear async communication and regular progress updates STRONG PLUS • HIPAA compliance knowledge: PHI handling, BAAs, audit trails, access controls • Previous work on healthcare, medical or health tech products • RAG pipelines and pgvector • LLM evaluation or observability tools (LangSmith or similar) HOW WE'LL WORK • NDA required before codebase access • Milestone 1: Paid code audit + HIPAA gap review + launch plan (fixed price) • Milestone 2 onward: Fixes, compliance work, polish and launch, scoped from the audit • A good fit can become an ongoing role after launch TO APPLY • Start your proposal with the word "LAUNCH" so I know you read this • Share 1 to 2 products you've shipped (live links) and your exact role on each • Share one LangChain or LLM feature you've put into production and what broke first • If you've worked on a HIPAA‑compliant product, tell me briefly what you were responsible for • In 2 to 3 lines, tell me how you'd approach week one on an AI‑generated codebase
