Full Stack SaaS Engineer for AI-Powered Cloud Platform

We are looking for a Full Stack SaaS Developer to support the development of our AI-powered cloud platform. The initial task is a focused 1 to 2 day assignment involving one specific feature or technical improvement. The overall product is a large SaaS platform, and this task is intended to evaluate your technical skills and potential for ongoing work. You will be responsible for making a focused change within the existing application. This may include creating a Next.js and TypeScript interface, updating Java Spring Boot services, adding a Node.js integration, modifying PostgreSQL data access, or connecting an AI service. The platform uses modern cloud and development technologies, including Next.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, GraphQL, Docker, Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, IAM, Secret Manager, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines. AI-related work may include OpenAI API, Google Vertex AI, Gemini, prompt engineering, structured output handling, embeddings, document processing, chatbot features, and AI workflow automation. Your responsibilities: - Analyze the assigned requirement and existing implementation - Build the required frontend, backend, and database changes - Integrate the feature with existing SaaS modules - Add AI or external API functionality when needed - Ensure secure authentication and API communication - Add appropriate validation and error handling - Test the feature and resolve technical issues - Deliver the work through a clean Git pull request - Provide setup and implementation notes The ideal candidate has strong full stack experience, writes clean production-ready code, understands SaaS architecture, and can work independently within a defined scope.
