React/Capacitor iOS App Launch

About the project I'm the founder of Nell, an AI-powered parenting companion designed to help families navigate their children's sleep and everyday parenting challenges. We've built a working product using Lovable, and the codebase is connected to GitHub. We're now looking for an experienced developer to help us take the existing application to iOS, beginning with TestFlight and eventually launching on the Apple App Store. We're not looking to rebuild the product from scratch. We want someone who can evaluate what already exists, preserve as much of the current work as possible, and recommend the simplest, most cost-effective path to launching a reliable iPhone app. Scope of work 1. Review the existing application Audit our Lovable/GitHub codebase and current architecture. Assess whether Capacitor is the best approach for an iOS release. Identify any critical issues that need to be addressed before launch. 2. Prepare Nell for iOS Convert/package the existing application into an iOS app. Configure the project in Xcode. Ensure the interface works well on iPhone, including navigation, screen sizing and keyboard behaviour. Verify authentication, user accounts, voice functionality and persistent family data. Identify any necessary changes to notifications or native iOS permissions. 3. Launch on TestFlight Configure the build for Apple App Store Connect. Upload a working version to TestFlight. Resolve critical issues preventing successful beta testing. Help us invite our first group of external testers. 4. Prepare for App Store submission Identify outstanding App Store compliance requirements. Assist with production build configuration and submission. Provide documentation so we can maintain and update the app going forward. Ideal experience React, TypeScript and modern web application development Capacitor and/or React Native, with an ability to recommend the appropriate approach Xcode, TestFlight and App Store Connect Experience converting existing web applications into production iOS apps Authentication, API integrations and secure user data handling Experience with AI-powered apps is a plus Familiarity with Lovable and Supabase is a plus What we're looking for We're a small, early-stage company and are being thoughtful with our development budget. We'd love to find someone practical, communicative and comfortable working with an existing product. There's an opportunity for continued work as we refine Nell based on feedback from families, but our immediate priority is getting a functional, reliable version into TestFlight.
